Your work is looking slick. Any reason you chose to install jack screws vs coilovers? Cost? What are you going to do with the frontend?

thanks, i started with bags but you dont see air in race cars. i did coilovers on a 71 15 years ago. trying something different. working with steve at hotrods to hell in northern ca. he builds alot of silver state classic cars and specializes in truck arm tech. as this project snowballs we have decided to build a new front x member with all new geometry. 2" 3 piece front sway bar and adjustable coilovers up front. loosing the steering box and using a woodward power rack. the spindles and hubs are all off modern cup cars as is the rear end, i want to push vettes! check out hotrodstohell.net he has new truck arms in stock

Sounds awesome! I checked out the site. Very cool suspensions. I've always liked the truck arms. Have you considered incorporating a double triangle in leiu of the panhard bar? I always thought that would help with side-to-side movement. Could also try a Watts link too. Nevermind, don't listen to me. I'm making more work and not helping with any of the fab.

Anyway, I look forward to seeing video of your truck carving!

Thanks! I wish I had the skillz that these people possess. It's very cool to sculpt with metal like they do. It's artwork. Anyway, perhaps these build threads will give you inspiration for the project to follow this one.
