Heim joints aren't legal? I'm pretty sure there are kit cars that use those in their suspension, it looks to me like some of the Factory Five cars use them and they advertise them as they 'fully comply with Canadian law'.

Maybe you should register it as a 'kit truck', not a 68 GMC.

It's funny they say they don't use the vehicle standards act of 1987 even though it was just update in 2009, and can't cite the references for these 'other' regulations. One might almost think they're making it up as they go
