1 ton stabalizer bar

THIS IS A ONE TON STABALIZER OR SWAY BAR. IT'S BIG & IT'S HEAVY. I THINK ABOUT $100 SHIPPED IS A FAIR PRICE. THATS FIGURING $25 SHIPPING. NOW I FIGURE I CAN JUST PUT A LABEL ON IT, & SHIP IT FED EX ANYWHERE EAST OF THE MISISIPPI FOR ABOUT THAT. IF YOU WANT IT SHIPPED TO SAY... CALIFORNIA OR WASH. STATE OR SOME ISLAND OFF THE OREGON COAST YOU WILL HAVE TO MAKE UP THE DIFFERENCE. I'LL NEED TO HEAR "I'LL TAKE IT" TO CONSIDER IT SOLD. JOHN

Re: 1 ton stabalizer bar

NOPE... THATS THE IDEA. IT WIEGHS 28 POUNDS. THEY MAKE THE SINGLE, MOST NOTICABLE STEERING IMPROVEMENT YOU CAN MAKE TO ONE OF THESE OLD TRUCKS. JOHN

Re: 1 ton stabalizer bar

Hmmm I'm wondering if this would mount to my 68 1/2 ton 4x4 frame?

Re: 1 ton stabalizer bar

I'M NOT SURE ABOUT 4X4s . I HAVE 3 80s 4X4s AND THEY MOUNT TO THE SPRING PERCHES ON THE SPRING PACK OF THE FRONT AXELS ON THOSE. THESE MOUNT (IN THE REAR SET) TO THE LOWER CONTROL ARMS OR "A" FRAMES ON 2WDs. I'D HAVE TO SAY PROBABLY NOT. NOT FACTORY ANYWAY. SORRY JOHN

Re: 1 ton stabalizer bar

These fit all of our 2wd trucks. You can even use your original brackets, just order/use
1 1/4" bushings (in place of our original 1 1/16"). They really tighten up our trucks as they are much better steel than the aftermarket.
