How do you remove it without damaging it or the paint, the kind that it not bolted on. Thank's for any help

Is it put on with the double sided tape? If so, try slightly pulling it away from body panels, then using a thin plastic or nylon scraper gently push it behind the tape. A clean bondo knife sometimes works, you can also spray a little WD-40 on the blade to help. Go slow and easy..., hope this helps

Thank's custom, but mine has the tapered push in clips that expand & hold on the back of the body pannel. I thought there is a special tool that would compress it to pull it out.

Mine had both kinds if it's a clip you almost have 2 get to the back side with a pliers and squeeze it to release them or take the nut off. I also found that pulling straight up then out and then pushing back down unhooked many of mine. but your gonna have 2 release a few of them. Just don't go back with the stick on kind they stick out 2 far and un-stick n about a month

Dad always said I was a lot better @ tearing stuff apart then I was @ putting it back together lol
