rad mounts different?

I have a 3 core red now. I know the 4 core are thicker. Are the mounts different or just the thickness of the rubber that is between the mount and the rad? This is in my 1 ton crew cab
Thanks

Re: rad mounts different?

depends on the tanks on the rad. some 3 cores had 4 core tanks. Best bet is to measure the the 3 core and compare to the specs of the 4 core.

Re: rad mounts different?

If you have a 3 core and it uses two small brackets on the ends then you have the small tanks. If you are putting a standard 4 core in you will need a completely different bracket and most likely a different shroud. The bracket on a standard 4 core goes all the way across the radiator.
