I just bought what was supposed to a set of small block mounts to replace my I6 mounts that i was using but they look the same as what i had. Am i missing something or did i get the wrong mounts.Both the ones in the picture are the left side stamped L.

Small block mounts look simmeler to IL6 mounts only they are shorter. However those do look to be the same side. WES

Do the small block ones use the same holes in the frame and crossmember.

No they do not. They use the forward 2 holes in the top of the frame and the forward hole, (closest to the frame rail) in the engine crossmember. WES

Those look to be small block to me, just both same side. Here are IL6 mounts and the flat area looks to be longer than the ones in your picture. WES

i believe they are small block also...just 2 of the same side! Take a picture of them laying down.

In my picture the one with dust on it is the I6 mount that came off my truck and the clean one is the one that was supposed to be a small block mount. They are the same.
