AC in a Six Cylinder???

Can you put aftermarket AC on a six cylinder?? If so what are the best kits to use. I found a really nice numbers matching truck and wanna make it a daily driver.

I've not gotten around to putting a/c on mine yet, but it can be done. Here's a link to old air:

The thing that can be an issue is the distributor. I don't think there's room for an HEI with these brackets. Some people have talked of using one with an external coil, but I've never actually seen evidence of it working. I'm thinking about going with Pertronix when I do mine.
