My TBI truck's fuel pump keeps cycling ??? Any ideas why

i kinda suck with electical stuff, so basically if i get a voltmeter to check it then what should i expect when i check the grey , basically nothing right? no current?
sorry for the dumb questions, just gotta make sure i do it right, the truck has already killed one battery and I gotta keep the ground disconnected on the new one ( i know, reconnect it before i check current) LOL
