Can someone tell me?

Can someone tell me if this is a 69-72 chevy fender? I just wanted to make sure because I am 300 miles away and having my brother in law pick it up for me this weekend. Thanks!

Re: Can someone tell me?

Yes it is a '69 to '72 fender. It had the lower trim from those years on it.

Re: Can someone tell me?

69-72 chevy for sure. This is what the front part of a 67-68 chevy or a 67-72 GMC looks like. It does not have the indention for the grill surround. The lower trim does not really tell you much because a 69-72 GMC has that trim but the fender would not work on a 69-72 chevy.

Your pic is so small, but I am pretty sure it looks like this, a 69-72 chevy fender.

Re: Can someone tell me?

So the 69-72 Chevy fenders have two steps in the front while 67-68 Chevy (67-72 GMC) have just one step in the front of the fender? Any more differences? Thanks guys this helps alot.

Re: Can someone tell me?

that is in fact a 69 - 72 fender, and it came off a 71 or 72.

It has the emblem holes under the side marker where the engine size goes.

Re: Can someone tell me?

Yep, sam got it.
In 69 and 70 the optional engine badges were under the C/10 (or what ever it was) badges on the rear of the fender.
for 71 and 72, it was moved forward under the front side marker light.

unless it came off a 69 or 70 4x4, then it would have a 4x4 emblem under the marker light.
