Stereo (Noise problem solved)
A month or so ago I posted a problem I was having when I hit my brakes with a poping in the right speckers of the stereo. I checked all the things that were mentioned here but didn't have any luck. It was very annoying. Yesterday at the park I was looking under there and decided to move the ground for the head unit. It was grounded to the bolt that holds the column up. Presto! No more popping.................Couldn't believe that it was as simple as that!

The most annoying problems always have the simplest cures, it's just figuring them out is the hard part.

a '' ground.
Did you try a noise filter too? I've seen the filters do pretty good on dirty grounds before. |

It had a filter on it Andy but wasn't doing any good. I'm wondering now if maybe something in the column, like a light or something somewhere might me messed up. Everything seems to be cool.........and the stereo is so much sweeter now. It had gotten to where I didnt want to use my brakes...LOL
