Good deal or not ?

I meet this guy and he told me about a 69 subburban(sp?) That he had for sell it is a running driveing truck with a 350 4-bolt with turbo 350 it is in good shape only has one or to small dents in it. It is all factory truck exept motor and tranny the in side is in great shape and even has the back seat still in it. It is a three door he said it is a rare truck is that true? I know nothing about the subs. Never had one just old trucks. He said he would take 1000.00 for it or give me the truck and 200.00 for my 93 ford tempo that I drive back and for to work dont make fun of me it get 28miles to the gallon So do you guy think it is a good price or trade thanks B.

I'm looney for these chevys so I would do it! Just check the condition of the engine etc...and if it seems solid do it.

Even 1K is good, maybe just buy it outright.

hmm...it sounds like this guy is trying to play up the "old and rare" theme. all 67-72 sub's were 3 door...they are rarer than pickups, but they aren't really that rare. if its 4x4, that does make it a bit rarer, but i think you would have said that in the description. however, if it runs and has all of the parts and is in decent shape, i'd say $1000 doesnt sound that bad...maybe try to lowball him first and perhaps get lucky. good luck!

That would be a pretty good deal around here unless it's all rusted out.

I just sold a 92 tempo.... so I know what they're worth.... take the truck... and the $200.... of course you should play up how rare a 93 tempo is... with the best motor ford ever made.... and what a reliable, efficiant car it is....... not to mention sporty....... then get the truck and $400....

Do it now. The parts on the burban would probably fetch what you end up paying for it if you parted it out.
