LOL, it all depends.

IMHO, when a mod sees someone asking a question here that would be better off asked in another forum, it gets moved there so that the original poster can get the most exposure to the area that is being asked about.

A good example is questions about bagging your truck - if it is a general bag question, you may get more help if it is moved to the suspension forum.

In the case of show or get-togethers pictures. Those usually get placed in regional forums where they are a little harder to come across.

I read in a post a while back, made by a moderator, that if you include the forum catagory, in this case "60-66" in the title of the thread chances are it will stay here.

I've done that on a couple threads I have started... so far so good.

But as our ole pal Benjamin Franklin stated in 1817:

Some forums have been changed in the upgrade, so it does need to be updated again.. but it gives a good idea as to what goes where and why.

The site index is located at http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/index.php
It lists each forum, and usually a description with it.

As far as putting 60-66 in the title

that works if its a specific 60-66 topic. Lets say you put, " hey 60-66 guys, lets see your other projects! " That would not be a 60-66 year topic, and would be moved. If it is not a 60-66 year specific topic, it more than likely goes elsewhere on the site.

If you ever have a thread that was moved, and you feel it was in error, just click report post on it and the staff will look into it.

Honestly this thread does not belong here. It should be in site feedback. I am leaving it for now though, so you guys can keep up with it.

Looks like I got more cleaning to do.

J/K There are some grey areas at times.

This area is getting busier by the day which means more post that will need to be moved. It's nothing against anyone. It's just what needs to be done. Your drawers at home hold specific items (what ever they may be).

There are specific areas here for discussion.
