sbc wont stop leaking
so ever since day one my truck has had a minor oil pan leak and i decided to finally fix it. but now its leaking worse than before, i have used two different one piece gaskets and bought a new oil pan!! its leaking from the front main seal and oil seeps out the two rear pan bolts!! the front seal only leaks once the engine has warmed up but the two rear bolts started dripping oil the moment i poured the oil in. im starting to think the timing cover is to blame for the front leak (it is one of those cheap chrome ones) but the i have no idea what to do for the rear. please help, im really starting to loose my mind over this!!

Re: sbc wont stop leaking
Ditch the Chrome timing cover. I had the same problem on my 327.

Re: sbc wont stop leaking
What type of oil pan did you buy? Stay away from those chrome pans and timing covers, they always leak.

Re: sbc wont stop leaking
I went with an aluminum pan & cover. I used a felpro one piece pan gasket.
