Thanks, no I havent c-notched it yet. With the flip kit and then adding a 1" lift shackle I have approx 2" clearance full of fuel with the family inside. I dont really want to notch it so I may try a set of the air-lift, slam air bags just to help it out a bit. I wont be going any lower than what it is right now.

Your suburban looks really good! Thats the exact stance I want for my Suburban, so I'm looking for specific info to order wheels and tires. Are you happy with the tire size you chose? I think 40 sidewall looks perfect.
What size rims are on there? 20x8 20x8.5 20x10
what offset/backspacing?
where did you order them from?

BGRAFX: Thanks. The wheels are 20 x 8.5 front and 20x9.5 rear, think it is a standard offset and no ther choices. I had to use a 1.25" wheel spacer on the rear to get the wheels out far enough. The front i had to use a .5" spacer with special lugnuts that went down inside the wheel a little. Maybe not special but was hard to find around here. I am not sure if my front wheels were the older hub style but either way it worked good. The tires are 245/40/20 front and 275/40/20 rear. The front will rub a little on BIG bumps but not to bad. I bought the wheels from a local vendor, the cost was $1300 out the door, complete package.

I used the western chassis kit front and rear and then thru on some slam air bags on the back to help out a little. I didnt notch the frame and the bags were just enough so the axel didnt hit the frame. I also used 1" lift shackles on the back becuase the full flip kit was to low and not level.

If I had to do it over again the only thing I would change is not buying the shocks from Western Chassis, they made the burb ride like a cement truck. Once I took those off it rides like a cadillac.

texassquarebodies: I sold this burb so I cant get any pics for you. I used the slam air system, I think I ordered it from summit. Simple install, the only thing that was off, I had to space out the passenger side about 1". I also used a 1" lift shackle from western chassis. A little grinding for clearance but worked good. Between the shackle and bags I didnt have to notch the frame. Even with a load the axle never hit the frame.

85silverbeast: For the shocks I ended up with using the cheap summit shocks in the rear, I think they were made by doechtech or how ever you spell it. And I used stock shocks in the front, that was the best ride I could get without spending more money on shocks.
