Hello from Canada!
Hi! I recently bought a '85 GMC K1500, cleverly disguised as a ~'79 Chevy K2500!
This is how the truck looked shortly after I purchased it: The truck was built here in Canada, originally had a 4.3L V-6, and was a "High Sierra". A previous owner put a 350 in it with an edelbrock carb and intake, diffs from a '74 K25 or K35(14 bolt rear, dana 44 w/big bearings front), and basically patched the truck together so it could roll around. I ended up having to fix half of the work he did. So far I have repaired, replaced or rebuilt the following:
anyhow, this is how the truck looks now! I have just started driving it this week! I will be using the truck as a daily driver. looking forward to forum-ing here! looks like a great site. |
