I don't generally watch TV, but I happened to be on a TDY and bored, so I tuned in. It was the episode with the 66 Chevelle. I wasn't too terribly impressed overall, but the thing I noticed was that they seemed to think all of their junk parts are made of gold or platinum.

I think a 138 convertible deserved a better fate than that. Discovery is just trying to jump on the classic restoration show bandwagon. I've watched a coulpe like the Charger and the Chevelle only because I like those models. They seem like nice people, but I don't think I'll be buying any "restored" cars from them.

My opinion is that they are building 'driver' type restorations. As much as I like watching them, I wouldn't want one of their cars either.
