Any cheap or free mods for a 350?

I have a 1975 C/10 with a stock 350. Are there any restrictive parts that I can remove, or any way to get more out of the engine? I know it may sound like a dumb question. But finances are an issue at the moment however I'm just itchin' to do SOMETHING to her.

If you have a timing light, try playing with the timing to see if performance increases...you may experience pinging, however.

open air cleaner, carb spacer, and a timing adjustment. maybe some 91 octane and run a bottle of seafoam though the motor

2 or 2 1/4 inch duel exhaust with a turbo style muffler, mine ran about 250 for everything and it picked up a good bit of power also adjust you carb and you can put smaller meetering rods in the back of the carb if it still has the stock q jet. a good tune up helps to and swap and swap it over to hei if it dosent have it. it would also help if you gave us a budget idea to.

Do carb spacers really make a difference? I was going to make one once I started working at a machine shop again. might just buy one...
