Dumb Q #...ahh, lost count. How do I know which I have? I also need to change out my plugs and wires, which type of wires will be best for my SB350?

the easiest way to find out is look at the side of the cap and if there is a metal slide door it will be points.
Or you can pull the cap and have a look and if it looks like this then its got points or this is what an HEI Distributor cap looks like

Junkie,95% of women would just ask,"Can you tune my car?"(They would not have a truck).You on the other hand,have always asked how do I do this or how do I make sure it's done well.
I know you don't always do everything yourself but at least you are smart enough to research the task to know enough to make a good decision about it.

If you still have a points now would be a good time to do the easy conversion to HEI. Strongly recommend it, more spark-no maintenance.

HEI! I thought I had it converted over years ago, but couldnt remember. My truck has been in the paint shop for almost 3 years, then sitting with little time for me to do anything to it for almost a year. I have forgotten so much its sad.
