Ok guys I am gonna rebuild my savage x and basically it will be all black... The only item Im not sure on yet is the body I have no idea which one I want I guess after awhile you have kinda ran them all.. So far most of my parts have showed up for this project and I am almost ready to go... Heres a few pics of what I am starting with..

great project. I think I'm going to step away from nitro when I buy/build a new one. The ability of getting wet is pretty appealing. I run a traxxas Tmaxx and a Jato.

Some pics of the truck all dissasembled and bead blasted.. All the plastick parts were cleaned up with simple green and a tooth brush..
