This is an original tach dash I got at a local Yard. I have not tried it but it's clean. $165 shipped. Trying to clean the garage a little.

Tach dash got here thanks the gauges are really nice.. dang fedex you packed it very well but looks like a mack truck run over the package and had a little damage.

It was packed really well so thankfully just the face plate was all that suffered.

Ed will have to take it to fed ex and fill out form with box and tach, then they will review it for a couple weeks. I hate to say it but it may be easier to send him another bezel or a little money back. They may want to send it all back to you, and then they may give you some money back or may not. I've had to deal with Fed Ex, UPS and DHL in the past, none of them want to pay very often. Just a little info for you, and trying to give you a little insight.

Sometimes certain carriers keep the item and cut you a check if they rule in your favor.

I am just glad the gauges come out ok. i wish these shippers would be a little bet nicer on the packages. It had to of taken a big hit for the damage because you did really good job on the packing probably why the gauges made if fine.

Also, If I were you, I'd skip the FedEx insurance and pick up a bezel along the way. That's the first thing I would have done anyway if I'd have purchaed it IMHO. By the way, congrats on your aquisition of a nice rare item!

Wooden crates are becoming almost necessary to insure safe parts delivery. Lots of extra time and $ to go that route just because the shippers we pay big $ to are not doing their job properly! Sharpie

It sure makes you wonder. I recently shipped a package in a crisp, new box. I saw pictures of it after it arrived and it looked like Little Lotta (from Richie Rich Comics) sat on it to when eating her hoagie sandwich
