Sorry it's taken so long to reply but I have been out getting my enginne ready to pull in the morning, puttimg a new crank in it. I will see what shape the 79 is in either tomorrow or sunday depending on the progress of the crank swap in my truck.

TX_Mudder The truck I have now still has the seat belts, they are tan and I think they are still good. I will check in the morning.

chevy68388 the drivers tank is spoken for but the passenger tank is not. I can check on shipping if you still want it.

I will check the 79 that I am going to look at. If it has a drivers side one I will let you know. Is 79 when they changed sides from right to left? Well I will check it.

What do you know about the rear axle?

The price sounds about right. What's the year? '76? If the front clip is in decent shape, you might post it to the 67-72 board for someone who might be interested in swap to disc.

LAST CHANCE

OK this is the last chance for any parts before I take this thing to the scrap yard (not wrecking yard) I am going to take it across the scales so it can be recycled into a half dozen rice burners...
The doors are already gone, the back glass is gone and the steering column is gone. it has lots of the small trim pieces for the cab. the drive shaft is still there. Everything is free...you can pick it up or pay for the shipping.... don't let any of this stuff go to waste.....

Was it a shortbed? If so, do you have the e-brake cable? What type of rear end?

Shipping Doors

Check with GREYHOUND EXPRESS Shipping, they should be about to ship these doors. They are the shipping part of the BUS COMPANY and thier rates are pretty reasonable for this type of stuff considering the size and wieght. If there's a terminal close by you. They have a 1-800 number if you need more info or advice. Just a thought to help you out.

Yes it is a SWB truck, I have not looked at the e-brake cable yet. I will check it and see how good it is.

Free parts

Are the dust seals that go between the cab and fender still available (see the 2nd and 3rd picture) and are they any good. I am interested in both the RH & LH side. What would the shipping cost be to Fremont, NE 68025-8304

Thanks;

Doug

Lower Control arms

I could use the front lower control arms and hardware, if they are good ones. Not damaged from the wreck.
