68 panel 4x4

Just bought a 68 panel 4x4 3ott all original. It's dismantled, been that way since '77. Wondering how rare this model is? Manual brakes & steering v8 barn doors. Anyone know how many were made factory 4x4? Will get pic's next week when I get i delivered.........Rick

Re: 68 panel 4x4

Congrats on getting your panel 4x4! What are your plans for it?

Panel 4x4's in 67/68 are very scarce.

Haven't decided plans yet. It's a 1/2 ton.

Re: 68 panel 4x4

The 68 K10 Panel is a very low production rig, according to my notes I have collected - there were approximately 60 made.

Post up some pictures of that baby!

Re: 68 panel 4x4

Rick-

Is this the light blue one from Phoenix that was owned by a guy named Jim? I was interested in that one and haven't been able to get over there. If it is the same one, it seemed like a real solid panel. Congrats. There have been a couple threads on here from when it was on CL.
