How Low
Hi All. A quick question for you all.
? how far off the floor will the center of the stock crossmember be with stock controlll arms and bags aired out, |

18 x 7 with 40 series tyres,
Curently got 15s but scuff line is 2 " lower than rims, (not good) |

There are so many variables its hard to give you a specific answer. What I can show you is what will happen if there are no fender liners in the way, and you are running a 3" spindle with short cups.
Its hard to tell with the shadows, but the "crossmember" is 3/4"-1" off the ground. The A-arms are resting on the ground hard.

Making an angle cut is probably the best starting point. From there, extensive boxing and plating done be a competent welder should be your first priority. Maybe we can get lakeroadster to do an analysis of the best way to reinforce a Z.

Basically, they have to be dropped (Z'd) back down what ever amount the suspension pivot points were raised.
