News on Rusty
Not much but...
I called my dad up today....the mechanic got everything ready to fire rusty up with his new/old 305. So hopefully I can get into town this week and put him on the road once again.....I'm excited.....and I'm almost ready to get original Power brake booster on him, just need the master cylinder... JOY... I'll keep you all posted and maybe have some pics soon!!!!!

Double check with the parts store, but I am 99% sure that the power and non power masters are the same part number.

Oh yeah they are the same master cylinder....I think the 3/4 or 1 ton are the only ones that are different...I think, i just have to make sure that I get one for a 68 1/2 ton. See.....I had a rebuilt one that my dad chunked cause we had this other crappy mechanic that rigged an 81 booster/cylinder and rod to work as my power brake set up..So he threw away the master cylinder...actually I had two.....one was used...but I don't know what ever happened to it.....

I thought that non-power master cylinders had a deeper hole for the linkage rod than a power master cylinder... maybe it's the other way around... or maybe I'm just nuts!!!
