Motor Mount Question

Gentleman,
Does anybody know if the motor mount perches(the ones that bolt to the chassis) are the same on a six cyilinder as on a v8? In other words can I bolt a v8 in my truck that came with a six by just buying v8 motor mounts?

Re: Motor Mount Question

if it was a 250, then yes, but noy a 292.
this will place the engine further back than if it was stock, but it'll work.
the stands aren't the same, but will work.
