Trans hump

Hey guys and gals. I was wondering about the floor in my truck. I am thinking to put a BB in my 72 with a 4 speed auto. Does anyone know if I would need to get a bigger hump in the floor past the stock size that is in there now? The truck has a stock 350 trans in it.

Re: Trans hump

I have a 72 blazer with a 454, TH400,and a NP205. I have loads of clearance. I thought with a 4 speed auto you will most likely need to move the trans crossmember back. And deal with drive line length?

Re: Trans hump

I think that is correct. A 4 speed would be longer then a normal 3 speed.
