Saw this truck in Merida, Progresso (Mexico)

Saw it on the streets. I've seen the tail lights on other GM trucks, like the '67-72's, but it's the first time I have personally seen one for myself. The hubcaps look like '67-72 caps.

Thought you might want to see it.

I love the body lines on the bedsides, looks really cool.

Re: Saw this truck in Merida, Progresso (Mexico)

I think this is a DINA pickup. I used to see these all the time when I lived in mexico back in the late eighties early nineties.

Re: Saw this truck in Merida, Progresso (Mexico)

I never understood why they made the back end look different? The rest of it is the same as any other 73-87.

Have you ever seen how they drive in MEXICO. They dont need to take their eyes off the road to look into any mirrors, as fast as they drive

The tailgate appears to be tied shut I wouldn't be leaning on it if I were that guy.

Since they're Mexican, it's okay. You better believe, though, that if they were white the cops would pull em over in a heartbeat...

Re: Saw this truck in Merida, Progresso (Mexico)

Found a whole thread on them - interesting rear design on the bed and tailgate...don't really care for it either.

I've seen those boxes before, lol

Or what about the 88' - 98' chevy's in Mexico... they have a GMC grill in them with a rectangular box like cap over the GMC part with a chev emblem in it....

Those stickers on the back window on the driver's side are actually reg. stickers. I've seen a few Mexican vehicles around here from time to time and I noticed the stickers.
