I have a Rochester Monojet carb off an 67 K10 250. I got a kit from napa westbay here in the pacnorwest and they ordered a kit 341B well open it up to rebuild the carb, my first rebuild of a carb and it's for a two barrel. Does anyone have the part number for the correct carb rebuild kit? The gave me 2-5194A just by matching the year and motor up. I can't go to the parts store wife is working the carb is disassembled in the dining room floor, she will like that one I know. So just curious if anyone has the correct part number.

There you go, find your year, or look on the carburetors tab and get the serial number and find it on the above link.

Thanks that is the right kit and the one at westbay is 12.76 i believe it what he quoted me, it was under 13 there's is over 20. Westbay is local too. I was kinda worried about rebuilding a carb didn't know much about the internals but after taking it apart it doesn't look too bad. But we will see once i put it back on and try to start it. Do you use any gasket sealer like Indian head or anything on the gasket of carbs?

I didn't tackle the rebuild, I just bought the kit for our friend thats a mechanic. I'm about to start a rebuild on a '68 Rochester BV for a 250 six, on the gaskets I didn't see where he used any sealant.

I didn't think you would, but when i was taking the carb apart one of the gaskets definitely had some type of sealant on it. I work as a mechanic so to say on a submarine but it doesn't make much sense why one gasket and not the others.

The Monojet carb didn't come out untill 68. If you have one on your 67 it has been changed. There is a # stamped vetically on a flat serface on the fuel bowl. If you give this # to a good parts man he can get the correct kit from it. When you put it together work the throttle a few times & make sure the link from the throttle shaft to the metering rod does not work its way out. Sometimes you have to bend it in a little.
