What company are you all using to re chrome?

Are they someone I can mail them to?

he might be talking about the orginal ones which are a die cast metal
i've run across a web site a few times called nu-chrome.com on some restoration sites

Nah he posted in another thread that he has some chromed ones from LMC that are starting to flake on him after about a year and all thay have listed are chromed plastic.

Ive been jumping around posting quite a bit, but i was talking about the plastic ones flaking and if i sent them back then i would not buy them again after that. I have the originals i would just get dipped.

Plastic is $30 for the pair. Funny thing mine were stamped ISO9001 certified all over the bags then something about yang wang enterprises to something like that. LOL

It's a HUGE difference. You can buy new plastic ones for 30.00 a pair. Have the metal ones rechromed will probably run you 80.00 to 100.00 each. These days chrome plating is very expensive.

I was quoted $225 per bezel last fall at a local chrome shop!

Thats pretty high but doesnt surprise me. The bezels are not made from quality materials, and would be prone to issues when plating.
