Classic Trucks magazine feature truck...

I've used this pic before as a reference, but never knew anything about it. The latest issue on the newstands features this truck and 'splains a lot about it. What I hadn't noticed before is that the bed has been modified and has become part of the cab, ala Fords' Unibody (61-63) pickups. This one started life as a long bed, but a 17-inch deduction from the chassis followed by the same amount removed in two cuts (before and after the axle) results in the look. Check out the article.

The unibody deal is easily missed. I'm not a fan of the real wide whitewalls. A white lettered tire would look better with those wheels, to me.
Smooth truck overall.

Jim...the owner who started it, took it to a school with an autobody class. After a lot of work was done, he lost interest. Then, the shop teacher bought it and finished it. He still owns it....and it is in Kentucky.
