Decal locations

Does anyone have pics or description of where all the decals should be located (as factory), for under hood, air cleaner, jack instructions, etc. Any help would be great, thanks.

Re: Decal locations

Of course the answer is: WHEREVER the assembly line workers WANTED !!! Here are a few pictures I have of original engine compartments. The blurry one is from that 80 original mile 1970 that was on eBay last year. The jack instructions pictures show different heights on the back wall - but these looked like original stickers. The posi sticker is above the jack instructions on this picture. The "sticker" on top of the core support for the engine specs can be found almost ANYWHERE along the top of it !!! Almost ALL of the stickers and decals are reproduced now, including the glove box SPID and VIN number sticker on the drivers door - I have gotten both of those made for my restoration. I have other pictures of original trucks saved, what else are you going to "stick" on ?

Re: Decal locations

The only time the jack instructions changed was with a bucket seat truck. In the case of bucket seats the jack instructions were placed inside the console as was the posi instructions if so equipped.

. . . and a couple more. These show the sticker on top of the driver's side inner fender ( which has also been reproduced ) and the placement of ONE of the core support stickers.

Re: Decal locations

I just wish they would make decals that lasted. I have many air cleaner decals and an emission decal on my cars that bubbled and peeled up.

Waiting for someone to make the 350 valve cover decal for these trucks too.
