Rusty tools Q.
While helping my buddy move all of his dads tools, we found a stash out in a dilapidated old shed out back. He didn't have room for them all so I took all the sockets and wrenches that he didn't. Anyway, all have some rust and some have a lot, so here's the question. Is there something I can put these in to get them all cleaned up or even just looking better?

Re: Rusty tools Q.
Vinegar is awesome to remove rust.
Just soaked the chrome lug nuts for my car in them. I swap wheels out for Summer/Winter. Aftermarket lug nuts were lightly rusty. Vinegar, 1/2 hour. Wiped right off.

Re: Rusty tools Q.
i use the cheapo generic house brand clear vinegar has worked well for my projects
have always wondered if you use the higher end speciality stuff if that wood give your tools a fragrence and then you could have apple or grape smelling tools
