getting a 4.3 tbi to run!!!!

hey guys just installed a 4.3 tbi V6 in my 82 short bed out of a 92 s10 tranny as well have all the wiring from it inclluding the computer... so went to see if i could start it today with no luck, got the starter hooked up, and alternator so it cranks no start. pump and fuel is all good, power to pump, good lines no leaks and good. good ground.. but checked to see if got spark and nope no spark any one know what i missed in the connection computer is hooked up why no power to distributor??? thanks guys for the help.
