orig.factory color of frt. end pieces?
i've already rattle-canned the pieces in question(idler arm,tie rod ends, adj.sleeves)a chassis colored black....but was wundering what was the factory color of these pieces? friend of mine has redone the whole frnt.end of his '68 amx in a gray por-15 color, including the center-link and it looks pretty cool in contrast to the chassis black of the upper and lower control arms etc..... anyone know what the factory shipped?

The parts were not painted, (bare metal).

If you don't like Satin Black, or Rust, go with the grey! Sounds good to me. I may have to put that on my " To Do " list.

I use Eastwoods "Spray Gray" which is pretty close to bare metal color.
