Did it again, nother Crew !
as we speak my girlfreind is head'n home in my new ('85) crew cab car hauler, found it on Craigs list last week, yesterday she just happen to need to go to Bowl'nGreen, Ky. so I told her to stop and take a look at it. she said it dont look bad and should serve our purpose (take 2 cars to the track at 1 time) and talk'd the fellow down to $2000. so this morn'n she went back up there, load'd her car on it and is head'd home now.

Re: Did it again, nother Crew !
Nice score! Is it a 5th wheel or a gooseneck truck?

Re: Did it again, nother Crew !
Never mind. it's a hauler. For some reason I was envisioning it pulling a trailor. Kind of looked like a 5th wheel body on the back at first glance.

Re: Did it again, nother Crew !
it does have a gosse neck hitch also, it's got a 14' bed, the tail light's fold out and the ramp's pull out from behind em,
she say's the rockers and part's of the floor are bad, I plan to replace the rocker's and floor pan's. add factory bucket seat's, paint it red and the scienitifcly proven superior '89-'91 GMC grill. my red truck had aluminum wheel's, I may put them on it unless I can find a killer deal on some 19.5's . may even put my 22.5's on it for a picture or two, how cool would that be .

Re: Did it again, nother Crew !
Are you talking about the hauler or a woman that will go look at it , go back and load her ride on it , and drive it home for you . I cant make up my mind on which one is the coolest.
Nice find............on both. Frank

Re: Did it again, nother Crew !
That is so cool! does she have a sister?
Gotta disagree on your scientifically proven 89-91 GMC grill though. I had one on my 81 K20 (I would have preferred Chevy for the chrome) I always thought they looked great until I owned one. Those little dinky headlights are totally ineffective. Nothing much out there for upgrades because they were sealed beams. I tried everything, always drove a long dark road for work around midnight and hated it. I had some nice Hella driving lights, but I had to kill them if the occasional car came the other way. And tough to keep lights under the front bumper of a truck when you plow and offroad with it. It was probably even worse in my case with 7 inches of lift and 35 inch tires. Lights barely lit up the road at all. My 82 has dual stacked 4 headlight system, 20 year old glass bulbs and it lights up the road just fine. So no matter how cool I think those Blazer/Sub noses look on a pickup, I always remember being frustrated by the little lights.

Re: Did it again, nother Crew !
You talking about the truck, or a girlfriend that can properly evaluate the condition and negotiate a good deal on one? Either way, I agree.
EDIT- Crap, Frank beat me to it....

Re: Did it again, nother Crew !
yes, I'll hook up the trialor and set the ramp's so I can drive up on the trailer then upon to the truck, so I dont have to unhook the trailer at the track. I can put my S10 on the truck and her MonteCarlo on the trailer.
