Seat Bolt Spacing?

Can anyone give me the spacing between the seat mounting bolts for the cab? I am looking at buying a newer take-out seat and would like to get as close as possible. Anything will help at this point. Thanks!

Re: Seat Bolt Spacing?

You’re lucky, I’m installing a new mat in my truck and the seat is not in. So I went out and snapped a picture and measured the bolt spacing with a tape measure. See the picture below for bolt spacing (One dimension I forgot to include in the picture is the forward to aft spacing, it’s 15-1/8 inches).

If your interested in what a (not stock) after market seat mount/bracket looks like, check out my build thread (post #109) http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=318544&page=5 maybe it might give you an idea on how to make one other than stock for your installation.

Re: Seat Bolt Spacing?

Bruce88! That is absolutely awesome!!! Thank you so much for that! I am going to go by a used seat place on Saturday and I want to get as close as possible, but I will check out your build thread, and maybe just build mounting to fit whatever catches my eye!
Thanks again!
