swivel lock airbag fittings....
are the swivel type fittings more prone to leakage than the non swivel type? Assuming both are brass and DOT approved...

I have not had an issue with SMC D.O.T PTC swivels at all

go with a name-brand like Parker or Swagelok and you should be fine
