what do i need to fit 37s?

hey all I am new to the forums but I have been a chevy owner since I started driving, currently I am driving a 06 Silverado 1500 Z71 and right now Im running with 32s after tightening the torsion bars and its time for new tires and Im thinking its time to go big. I want to fit 37x13.50x18s preferably Swamper M-16s but I dont know how big of a lift I need. Ive looked around and got different ideas from different places some say i need a 10" others say 8" and others say even 6" with a 3" body lift. But I want to go all suspension because to no offense of anyone who has a body lift they are just ugly to me and are of no practical use than just looks. So if anybody has any ideas on what kind of lift I need or what are the most quality brands any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance John
