Front end/clip q's

So iam replacing the front fenders, bumper on my 78 c10 to better ones, cause what i got now are beat up. I got questions and advise

1) how hard to remove/ install fenders, bumper? Any tips would really help
2) iam replacing bolts and clips while iam at it. Should i just get same bolts or u guys think stainless or polish stainless would be better or look better?
3) last question, the bottom of my headlightsupport/rad support got rottened out, where it connects to the wheel wells. Should i just cut out old metal and weld in new metal or just replace the whole part?

Any suggestions or comments would be helpful. Thanx!!

Re: Front end/clip q's

I'm doing the same thing right now. I was taking the engine out anyway, so I took the front clip off to do it. I knew I had problems like rot below the battery tray and so forth. I had the idea I would go to a junk yard, get a core support, cut the metal from the driver side and weld in a patch with it on the passenger side. But considering all the time and trouble, I decided to order a new core support from LMC truck. It just ain't worth it to fix an old one. It took me all day to get the entire front clip off. But I'm old and slow. Just to give you an idea.
