Leaking bag help
I have a right front bag leaking on 72 mounted to plate and cup
i removed line from fill valve and placed valve core fitting to fill bag dipped the core in bucket of water no bubles next day its down removed bag and all line up to valve submerged it all in bucket added only 25 psi till bag was streched no leaks then reinstalled in truck only to find next day its down again. What is the best way to locate small leaks the whole setup under water didn't work ????

I would suspect the fitting first.Are you installing them with tape?Sometimes the leaks are so small that they are easy to miss.I've had good luck spraying windex on the connections and watch it like a hawk for at least a minute.If it isn't that then it would have to be the bag and that would mean replacing.

When the bags are installed & leaking down, what pressure are you filling them to? Use that same pressure for your testing.

as stated put one bag with swivel fitting 3" air line one valve core fitting in submerged tank for 5 min no bubbles but it was a lower pressure didn't want to over strech the bag in water tank? after removing just changed to new line for the corect length and leak is back
is there any dye that could safely show this leak as in aircondisioners??

We build allot of oil tanks and trailers with air brakes and all need to be leak tested, the best way I've found is as mentioned already with soapy water but I like to just put a little bit in the spray bottle and shake it up real good to make allot of suds in the spray bottle, so that when you spray it on you'r actually spraying on the suds. The suds will show a small leak allot better than just wet soapy water.

Better than dish soap is the kids bubble stuff. The new dish soap seams to be loosing it bubble ablility but the kids stuff is made just to make bubbles.....

aparently each time i bolt bag with plate back in it must be slight twist on line to cause leak the last install no leaks so thanks for all the sugestions just one of little gremlins to keep agrevating me i hope down the road these leaks don't become a common issue with air ride but i do like the softer ride!
Its holding for now!!!!!!
