Rear seat compatibility

I just picked up a 91 Jimmy. The PO had the rear seat in his garage when it burned down.

Lucky for me, I found a matching rear seat in nice condition. Not knowing anything about compatbilty of rear seats between the years, I bought it.

Unlucky for me, when I got it home, it looks like the brackets for the seat and what is in the truck are different. I can drill into the body to mount the seat, but I'd rather not.

Can I find the newer brackets and bolt them to the seat or are they different?

I believe the seat is from an 87.

Re: Rear seat compatibility

seats interchanging for blazers, trucks, and burbs from the square body is like going to a football game and seeing baseball being played. I have seen some where later in the year they had changed the bracket configuration even though is was still for that same year and not next years model.
