I have an early 1974 350 that I'm going to put in my '67. I have access to a serpentine belt setup from a 92 Chevy truck 350. Does anybody know if this is a direct bolt on or if there is a lot of work to installing. Also, is there maybe a better year to use?

should bolt right up, mine is a 95. make sure you have the reverse rotation fan blades also.

I believe the only thing that we have to worry bout is if you have aftermarket heads or not. I am going to go with the Vintage Air FrontRunner kit they have that bolts to the block and nothing bolts to the heads at all. Very nice looking and works well as well.

That sounds good to me. I found a setup here locally that comes complete with all the brackets, alternator, air cond, power steering pump, water pump, harmonic balancer and even the belt for $100. I'll just prob have to get special power steering hoses made I would image - I believe the new ones have metric fittings. I guess I better jump on it.

Yeah that is a pretty good deal I would say.

On the fittings thing for the PS pump lines. I believe Earl's or somebody makes the adapter type of fittings so you can still use the same hose. I remember reading something about that when I was looking at Zoops.com or vintageair.com. Somewhere out there.
