Hello from Iowa

I joined a while back but have not posted to introduce myself. This Truck would be my dd if not for a company vehicle. My Wife's DD is a 09 HHR. My project someday is a 50 3100 that has been in the family for over 40 years sitting for about 32 in the same spot. I remember the last time it ran as i was about 5 and standing on the seat next to my father. I hope to work on it soon with my father and my sons as a 3 gen project. Current plan is to put it on a 85 s-10 4X4 frame.

Re: Hello from Iowa

Here is the Wife's DD. I'm thinking that it might be neat to match the paint on the 50 when It comes time to paint it. Will be a while before I can get a pic of the 50.

Re: Hello from Iowa

This is the reason I joined the site. Some day I hope to get this truck back on the road. My father has a 4x4 s-10 to bring home some time that will be the drive train for it. I have know idea when this project will get started as he has another project that is first after he gets some honey do things done to his house.

Re: Hello from Iowa

This Truck has been sitting in this spot for over 30 years my father is the third owner, although the 2nd owner inherited it from his mother in law. I remember riding in it the last time it ran when I was about 4 or 5.
