...grommets for PCV and Breather caps.

I was wondering what style/type of rubber grommets do you use for your PVC breather cap and breather cap??? My breather cap came w/ a rubber grommet that is just a plug without no inlet/outlet for fumes to flow through. Anyways, O'Reily's and Autozone sell a type of grommet that has a tiny slant for air to flow through...is this okay to use as a grommet for a pcv breather and breather caps??? I need something I can get access to w/o waiting for it to be shipped. Anyone??

You could always cut a hole in the bottom of the plug.

O'Rielly's had a wall of "Help" parts including PCV valve grommets. They were even labeled as to what apps they were for though they may fit others.

Re: ...grommets for PCV and Breather caps.

Some of that style of grommet with the extension and plug on it can serve as a sort of oil deflector/baffle. You could take a hole punch and cut some small holes in it if you like or cut the end out of it if you want. I have had them that came with a series of small holes in them before but they do slow the oil down when you fill the crankcase through them.
