Questions.

I have recently removed my 250 v8 from my truck along with the 4 speed box, i will be replacing with a 350 chevy and a 350 th box,

My questions are,

1. the small crossmember that holds the park brake cables, will it need re positioning with the different gearbox,

2. my propshaft is a two piece, should i just shorten this or go to a one piece.

I have a 63 long fleet.

Thanks

Re: Questions.

You shouldnt need to reposition your tranny crossmember, use the stock perches. the driveshaft will need to be cut or lengthened but you wont know how much until you get the motor in. also this would be a good time to replace the carrier bearing too.
