the light did increase on mine but here is mine without the light on

I have one on my truck too, I feel it did increase the brightness of the light, but not by much. I found the biggest improvement was getting the light under the dash working again.

Did you replace the socket? My socket is coming apart and I need a new one. I was thinking about hiding an LED light strip instead.

I got one in my truck with the LED bulb they sell. Its bright and i love it!
