NP 205 Question...
Does anyone know if an earlier model NP205 T-case can be drilled and tapped to thread in the switch that would turn on the 4 wheel drive light in the dash like the later ones do? I know I should be happy just having a bulletproof case, but you know how it is...

Derk, there is more to it than just drilling and taping in a switch mount. There hasto be something inside the case to move the switch. I wouldn't bother going that route. Find and install a switch on the linkage, then wire up the dash lamp. Wire power to the lamp and let the switch ground the circut out when you engage FWD. jim

1984 K20 350M engine with 465,000 miles. Well, it's finally done!! Almost 2 years of work, but it was really worth the effort. Little stuff left to do is mount winch, wet sand & buff out and build belly pan\running boards. Body work takes lots and LOTS of beer!!!!
