You'll need more radiator for the 350. Trans should be fine, the bolt patterns are the same. If you do a search in the Engine section there's a lot of info on L6-350 swaps. The 350 should bolt in, you'll need to move the RH mount but the holes are already there. Best bet is to buy a complete engine from a running vehicle. You can use pretty much any 350 with a intake swap (TBI to carb), the roller cams verisons are the best bang for the buck, and often can be had complete with the serpentine belt set. Be sure to get the PS pump and all acessories if you go serpentine, and if not, you can reuse your stuff except PS pump will probably need brackets. Motor side mounts fo the 350 should be readily available in the J-yard, Again a lot of good info in Engines section.

And when you're done you can drive over to Port Huron MI and throw that 292 out in my yard. It can keep my 250's company until I find something to do with it......
