I did all the work in my back yard..prep and bodywork. Whole new front clip too. I completely stripped the truck and then I drove it over to a buddy's shop to apply the final coats in a good closed paint booth. Put on 4 coats of Nason polyurethane in the original color scheme. #518 Medium Green & #517 White
Then, when I got it back home I spent the next 15 hours color sanding, buffing & waxing and about another 20 hours of reassembly..phew!! no more projects!!

SWEET!!!

WOW! That looks GREAT!

You should be really proud of how it turned out. Nice list of 'options' too! I hope you get TONS of enjoyment driving that beauty around. I know I would.

And thanks for posting the 'before and after' type pictures. I'm sure that I wont be the only one to derive some added 'oomph' towards completing a treasured project because of seeing the results you have achieved.

Sweet, I love that color green. Are those 2000-2002 bench seats or buckets with the center console? I was just wondering how you put them in.

Edited later:
MOST paint jobs get this done to them. Occasionally, one lays out just right and doesn't need any further fine tuning. But, pretty much any paint job, no matter how nice, can use color sanding.

Thanx for the kudos guys! I was going to lay on the final finish myself but decided to have a friend do it. I figured less time rubbing out airborne contaminants was worth the $$ ! I bought the paint and he and his helpers did the masking and applying. Saved me some time and money. I got off pretty cheap dollarwise too. The paint, primer (etch & hi-build), body filler, tape, paper, etc. set me back about $500.00 and another $300.00 to Manuel and his crew for their time.
I will post some more pix. The seats are from a '98 Silverado and not too difficult to install. You only have to fabricate a special bracket for the right front mounting pad of the driver's seat [a special thanx to Fred T for his super help ] The speakers are in the kick panels and the door bottoms and the 4-channel amp is under the passenger seat
Boy, you really get the looks from the new truck guys when driving this one!

I gotta say that your truck turned out great. Kinda makes me wish mine was finished, but gotta have money for that, and college takes most of it .
