Reupholstered Bench Seat!

Finally got my Bench seat back from Woody. Let me tell ya, he did one hellva, unbelievable job. All hand done and exactly what I wanted. He also said he didn't have to fix the frame nor any of the springs, he just tighted it up and stiched it up.
He's in West VA if anyone wants his number.

Re: Reupholstered Bench Seat!

Wow! Those are sweet seats!

96blazr - I'm really digging the red/blk color combo on the seat as well as the white on red door panels!

I have the exact same color scheme as your truck(white front grille/red on the rest) with all red interior. The white matches perfectly with it!

Thanks Mac. I figured with the truck Red/White and, at the time, the interior was Brown (seriously nasty), I wanted to break things up without adding too much red or white, so my minds eye was saying black.
When it came time for the bench to get recovered I had two ways to go: All Black or some kind of Combo. So, I started thinking that if the seat was "Just Black" it would fade into the carpet and you wouldn't really get a sense of the seat and besides, it would be boring just having a Black seat. I thought how bout some Red piping to break it up. Then I saw a truck in Classic Trucks Mag that had it's bench done like what I was thinking, so I used that as an inspiration, drew a quick outline and Woody did the rest.

Thanks VA.

I really, really wish I could, but my schedule just won't allow it. On Saturday, I have a car show I've been invited too and then I have a gig that night with an 11-piece horn band I play with: Too Many Daves and the Brass SOULution.
And Sunday? Brunch, Massage, Couch, rest.
I've been keeping an eye on how you've been getting that all together and I have to tell ya, I think it'll turn out great and I think you've done a really good job.

"Wild West" LOL!! I like that.
Mine are the Steal ones that come with the 68's painted the same white as the roof and grille. Here's a pic of the outside.
That's a very good question though and I know I don't have the answer if 67-68's will fit a 72, but someone on here will know for sure. I can't see why not, but then again.

Thanks for the Compliment too. Woody did a fantastic job on it. Next step (And final step for this show season) is the installation of the Bruce Horkey "Show-Deck" I just finished last week. I'll post pics when I'm installing this.
